I took a business trip to Essen Germany. These are my photos.
Bike Path
One of the hardest things for me to get used to in Essen is in this picture. Notice the different colored concrete in the street and the just slightly different colored concrete on the sidewalk? Well that is Essen's way of distingusing a bike path.
In my neck of the woods bike paths are in the street and clearly marked. I was almost run over at least half a dozen times in my 5 days there because I wandered into the bike path. At least make the path bright green or something.
